RhyTime Privacy Policy
RhyTime is a calendar, reminders, habits and focus-timer app. Its planning features and records work locally on your device. This policy explains, in plain words, what that means for your privacy.
Summary
RhyTime does not operate a server that receives your plans, notes or habits, and does not sell your personal data. There is no RhyTime account, advertising or analytics. Optional speech recognition, purchases, device backups and sharing use the services described below.
Data stored on your device
The events, reminders, habits, tasks, notes and settings you create are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. Les Digital LLC cannot see them and has no copy of them.
Backups
Your phone's own backup service (iCloud Backup on iPhone, Google Auto Backup on Android) may include RhyTime's data as part of a normal device backup, under your device account and settings. That service is operated by Apple or Google and is governed by their policies. If you use the app's export or share features, the file goes only where you choose to send it.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally by your device. They are not sent through any server, and no push-notification service is used.
Network, analytics and advertising
Planning and saved records work offline. Store purchases, purchase restoration and external links may use an internet connection. Voice transcription runs only on the device. It contains no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, attribution or crash reporting, and it does not track you across apps or websites.
Voice input
Voice input uses only your device’s on-device speech recognition service. RhyTime does not send your audio to Apple, Google, Les Digital LLC or another server for transcription, and never falls back to online speech recognition. If your device or language does not support on-device recognition, voice input is unavailable and you can type instead. Recognized text stays in the app for you to review and save. RhyTime does not maintain an audio recording archive. You can revoke microphone permission in device settings.
Purchases
The app store processes payments and provides purchase information needed to unlock the full version or restore a purchase. RhyTime does not receive your payment-card details. Payment processing is governed by the relevant app store’s privacy policy.
Permissions
RhyTime may request notifications and, on Android, exact alarm access for reminders. Voice input requires microphone permission and, where applicable, speech recognition authorization. You can manage these permissions in device settings.
Children
RhyTime is not directed to children under 13.
Deleting your data
Because everything is stored on your device, deleting the app removes its data from the device. Backups held by Apple or Google can be managed in your device or account settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
